Kidd C. Gore was born on July 29, 1872, in Hardin, Texas, his father, William James "Dink", was 24 and his mother, Martha Jane Caraway, was 16. His 2nd marriage was to Mattie Belle Richardson in 1919. They had four children in 17 years. He died on November 17, 1956, in Village Mills, Texas, at the age of 84, and was buried in Richardson Cemetery, Warren Tyler County, Texas.
