Bruce Edgar Hutchinson, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at his home. Bruce was born September 06, 1959. He was a simple man who was humble, kind-hearted, and generous. Bruce was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. He served in the United States Army in the 1980s. In his spare time, Bruce enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, and he enjoyed fishing. He retired after 25 years at Master Mufflers in Florida. Bruce was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior Hutchinson and Beulah Stokley Hutchinson; sisters, Ophelia Stokley Elmore (Charles) and Neva Lois Stokley; brothers, Pete Stokley and Sam Stokley; and brother-in-law, Leon Weeks. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Cathy Elmore; son, Christopher Daniel Hutchinson (Haleigh); grandchildren, John Christopher Riyen Elmore and Emma-Leigh Rose Hutchinson; brothers, James "Buddy" Stokley (Margie), Roy Hutchinson (Cecilia), and John "Mickey" Hutchinson (Mari); sister, Patricia "Sally" Stokley Weeks; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Bruce from 6pm until 9pm Monday, May 17, 2021, at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Lockler Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Community Cemetery.
