Janet, a daughter of the late Ellis and Arlene (Fitterling) Reifsnyder, was born in Marion Township. She is survived by a son, Jay L. Fisher, Sinking Spring; two daughters, Vicki L. wife of Ross J. Stowell, Mohnton, and Tina L. Thoman, Landisville; two grandchildren, Kirsten (Stowell) wife of Ben Franco, and Ryan Stowell, husband of Alicia; and two great grandchildren, Maggie and Aidan Stowell.
She was a 1950 graduate of Sinking Spring High School.
Janet worked at various locations as a seamstress including the Berkshire Knitting Mills and Dolfin Swimwear, retiring in 1990. She also assisted her husband in the operation of Fisher's Christmas Tree Farm in Sinking Spring for many years.
She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Sinking Spring.
Janet enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques, shopping, reading, and vacationing at the beach with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was dedicated to taking care of her family. She will never be forgotten and she will always live in our hearts.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 17, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at North Heidelberg Cemetery.
