Thomas Troy Amos, 59, of Lyman, SC passed away May 11, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Carl Leonard and Annie Lou Hopper Amos and a native of Rutherford County, NC. He loved to travel, especially to Germany with his wife; he also loved to garden and build things and loved eating German food. He was a US Army Veteran and loved to scuba dive when he was young.

Thomas was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was known to his grandchildren as "T.P." or "OPA". His marriage to his wife, "Uschi" was genuine and loving and he was always the family protector.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Cathy Roark. He is survived by his wife, "Uschi"; two daughters, Bethany Clark and husband Jeffery, Carla Chapman and husband Nathan and one step-daughter; Knisha Curry and husband Ronnie, one brother; Paul Stanley Amos; two sisters, Bonnie Henderson and Shirley Holland and five grandchildren; McCartney, Lillie Mae, Boone, Maliyah, Dayshaun.

The Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Eggers Funeral Home in Chesnee, SC with Nathan Chapman officiating.
