Joan E. Cooper, 66, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. She was born in Louisville on May 30, 1954 to the late Robert and Elva June Hutcherson Cheatham.
In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Craig Cooper.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Bonnie (James E.) Blevins; a niece, Linda (Marty) Manning; a nephew, James R. (Tammy) Blevins; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; and many friends who will all miss her dearly.
The family will accept guests for visiting from 2:00 pm- 8:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Road). A service to celebrate her life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 12:00 pm with burial to follow in Mount Holly Cemetery in Fairdale.
