Seventy-year residents of Sandy, Utah, Edith and Don enjoyed many years traveling with their friends in the Roaming Utes, Good Sams. Edith retired from Sears Roebuck after 25 years. She was a member of the Utah Daughters of the Pioneers and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her homemade pies and hot rolls were legendary. Her greatest joy was being grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Edith is survived by three daughters, Carol Jeremy (Ray), Maxine Chestang and Susan McNeil. Sisters, Maxine Holbrook and Beth Reisbeck; and brother, Dixon Hindley also survive her.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 8th, at 12 Noon at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends and family may call to pay their respects Thurs. 11-11:45 a.m.
Burial will be at Sandy Cemetery.
