She was a retired Clerk for the former Pay Less Department Store in Hilo and a Seamstrees. She also was a member of the Pepeekeo Filipino Association and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou.

She is survived by sons, Leonard (Thelma) Acoba and Patrick (Estrella) Acoba of Honolulu; daughters, Paula (David) Chuck of Hilo and Claudia (Wayne) Palea of Kent, Washington; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
