Born in Lehighton, he was the loving son of the late Thomas Smith and the late Mildred (Hunsicker) Smith.
Garry was a car salesman at Abeloff and Gray Chevrolet for many years before retiring in 2020. Prior to that, he was a concrete foreman for JDM Materials in Stroudsburg. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Scranton. He loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. Most of all, he was a loving and caring father, and brother. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.
He is survived by a daughter, Brandie Uliana and her husband Albert of Saylorsburg, and a brother, Edward Smith of Palmerton.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 12 at 11:00 AM from the Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery in Trachsville with Rev. Dr. John Harding officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
