Funeral services for Wanda Sue Allen, 69, of Perry, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday May 14, 2021 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Perry with Pastor Jason Yancey officiating.
Burial will be in Lick Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Bienhoff Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen passed away at 9:31 p.m. May 10, 2021 at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
She was born in Vandalia on December 16, 1951, the daughter of Walter and Lena Mae Goodhart Trower.
She married John Westley "Bud" Allen on March 16, 1972 in Perry and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2011.
Survivors include: one son, Wes (Christina) Allen of Hannibal; one daughter, Cindy (Terry) Winner of Perry; one brother, Dennis Trower of Perry; one sister, Sherri (Ron) Coose of Perry; six grandchildren, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Chase and Gunner Allen, Maddie Winner and Emily Coose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Carl Trower and a half-brother, Larry Trower.
Mrs Allen was a lifetime area resident,member of Living Water Ministries in Perry and graduate of Mark Twain High School. She worked for several years as a cook for Chelle's in Center. She enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, along with playing cards, Bingo and other games. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Allen, Terry Winner, Wiley Hibbard, David Talbott, Scot Woodhurst and Gabriel Duncan.
