She was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 13, 1942 and raised in East Kingston, NY. Angela graduated from Kingston High School in 1960 and retired after 21 years of service from Stafford County Public Schools.
Survivors include her husband, Les. E. Wood; children Leslie Miele (Nicholas) and Debra Atkins; granddaughter Emma Atkins; sister Rosemary Mitchell (Joseph); and nieces and nephews Joseph Mitchell, Kim Mitchell, Lisa Linnartz (Tim), Kristen Linnartz, and Timothy Linnartz. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Berardi; mother Emma Berardi; and son-in-law Bryan "Butch" Atkins.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at St. William of York Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
