Joann Scott, 67, of Maxton, NC, passed away on May 7, 2021 at Laurinburg Hospice.
She was born on June 27, 1953.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt Scott and Anna Brayboy-Scott; her brothers: Rev. Ronald Scott, Alton Scott, Vonnie Scott, Raymond Scott, and Billy Ray Scott; his sisters: Cathy Chavis, Patsy Jacobs, and Janice Laviner.
She is survived by one daughter, Cora Ann Scott of Maxton; three grandchildren: Joshlynn Locklear, Jaylen Locklear, and Jaxston Locklear all of Maxton; her brother, Bertie Bullard (Barbara) of Maxton; and her sisters, Betty Jacobs, Reedy Jacobs (Roger), and Carol Scott all of Maxton.
