Son of Seth Alden Jr. and Mary Carver Alden.
Seth and Mary lost three children in August of 1775 ~
~ Betsey, age 2, on the 8th
~ Seth, age 7, on the 10th
~ Mehetable, age 5, on the 11th
Then Seth, the father, died on the 29th, age 34 (1741-1775).
All were descendants of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins.
