He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Virgil E. Argo, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha; and three sisters, Nellie Kamradt of Fillmore, California, Mary Schmuck of Chloride, Arizona, and Suzanne Miller of Gig Harbor, Washington.
A memorial service was held November 30, 1998, in Northridge, California.
Mr. Argo's body has been cremated.
Inurnment will be at Burr Oak Cemetery, Skidmore, at a later date.
