George was born November 9, 1946 to the late Joe Howard "Buck" Bullock and Nettie Bullock. He graduated from Clark High School. George started his career in law enforcement on March 18, 1974 and retired April 7, 2011. During his 37 years as an officer of the law, he dedicated himself to his community.
George was preceded in death by his (parents): Joe (Nettie) Bullock, (sister) Barbara Jean Bullock, (brother) Joe Thomas Bullock, (daughter) Janet Michelle Bullock, (granddaughter) Jordan Rajeena Bullock Smith, and (good friend) Earl Pettus.
Even more, George was the most dedicated and caring husband. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Warnella A. Bullock. She will forever miss his smile, his heart, his compassion, and his dedication. He also leaves behind his loving daughters: Stephanie Bullock, Brandi Bullock, and Tasha (Jeremy) Golden, brother Roy (Betty) Bullock, (sisters-in-law) Lena Arms and Marylu Arms, brothers-in-law, Eric (Georgia) Arms and Waymon Arms; grandchildren: Pastor George (Cherrell) Bullock, Arieonna Bullock, Olivia and Alaynah Golden, Christyle, Jana and Javon Bullock; great-grandchildren: Jhaliah, Jadarian, Jaxton, Jayci, Geonna, Geordyn, Gabby, and Nyla. George is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, family and friends that he loved very much.
The body will lie in state on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Chavers Funeral Home located at 214 Columbian Ave. Mt. Pleasant, TN 38474
Funeral Service: Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Saint James Brick United Primitive Baptist Church, 360 Bluegrass Avenue Mt. Pleasant, TN 38474
