She had four sisters and two brothers : Ophelia Jett (21 Dec 1869 - 20 Nov 1870), Mahuldah (Hulda) Jett Williamson (31 Aug 1871 - 13 Jan 1924), John Absalom Jett (14 Aug 1873 - 25 Aug 1911), Willis Warren Jett, Sr. (31 Jan 1876 - 28 Feb 1959), Iva (Ivy) Jett Havard (06 Jun 1878 - 16 Apr 1963), and Mabel Elaine Jett Pruitt (31 Jan 1881 - 18 Jun 1960).
Frances Ann (Fanny ) Jett never married. She grew up on Tarkington Prairie, Cleveland, Liberty County, TX. She graduated from Sam Houston State and became a school teacher. She spent her entire life teaching school and taught at several schools in the local area. She lacked a few days of being 69 years old when she passed away. She is buried next to her mother, Mary Ann "Polly" Winfree Jett in the Huffman Cemetery, Huffman, Harris County, TX Her seventy-five birthday was quite a event. It was celebrated at the Charlie Harris and Iva Jett Havard home on Havard Road in Huffman, TX and most of the living Havard and Jett families attended. Tables were put up between the trees and an abundance of good food and deserts were provided.
She was an extra-ordinary person, poised, and self assured, tall and slender. She was admired and respected, and loved by all. Usually referred to as "Aunt Fannie" by her family and Miss Jett by her students.
