Kelvin Louis Williams was born on December 15, 1951, to the late Lillian Marie Williams in Detroit, Michigan. In addition to his mother, he was raised by his grandparents the late Cornelius and Alline Williams. He was baptized in 1963 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit Michigan. From 2004 – 2018 he became a member of Christian Center Church in South Bend Indiana.

He moved to South Bend Indiana in 1992 due to job relocation at the National Steel Corporate Office in Mishawaka Indiana. His employment with the company started at the Great Lakes Steel Division in Ecorse Michigan in 1971 and ended due to early retirement from the corporate office in 2002.

Kelvin leaves to mourn his passing a loving devoted son, Alin Cornelius Williams; a grandson, Kolcen Louis Williams; cousins: Carl Kemp (Jenny), Benson Kemp, Patricia Easter (Edmon), Keith Kemp (Jenae), Laverne Gray, and Alma Gigger. Also three extended family sisters: Sandra, Silvia, and Valerie, and a host of other family, extended family, and close friends.

Kelvin would like to leave this world with you knowing what an honor and privilege it has been to have you all as a part of my life.
