L. D. Cook died at his home in the western part of the county, August 10, 1912. Deceased was 66 years, 4 months and 19 days at the time of his death. He leaves a wife and nine children and 25 grandchildren. All were with him at the time of his death except three grandchildren. A brother L. M. Cook of Ahef, Texas, was also with him at the time death. Father had been a great sufferer for five years but he bore his suffering with patience. He is now where sickness and death can never come but all is joy and peace and love. Truly a place is vacant in our home which never can be filled. Let us bow in humble submission to His holy will.
