Ruth E. Green
Sheboygan - Ruth E. Green, 68, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Born July 17, 1952 in Sheboygan, Ruth was a daughter of the late Ralph and Esther Brown Green. She attended Holy Name grade school and graduated from Sheboygan North High School.
Ruth worked at Acuity Insurance for 45 years before she retired in 2015. She was a lifelong member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church where she volunteered for many activities over the years. She loved to go shopping, crafting and out to eat with her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting and made many beautiful afghans, baby blankets and hats for her family and friends. She also enjoyed the times she spent traveling to Florida. Ruth was a very special aunt and Godmother to her many nieces and nephews. She also cared for her parents for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy (Donald) Moland, Ocala, FL; her brothers, Donald (June) Green, Dayton, OH, and Robert Green, Ocala, FL; her sister-in-law, Sharon Green, Ocala, FL; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Frank and Charles Green, and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Judy and Betty Green.
Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are required. A private family service will take place immediately following. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
