Services for Jettie Evie Gibson Langston, 89, of Palestine, were at 10 A.M. today at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev William Snidow Officiating. Burial was in the Fields Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Langston died, Saturday morning, September 11, 1999, at Lindale Healthcare Center, in Lindale.

She was born June 19, 1910, in Anderson County.

Mrs. Langston was a Homemaker and a member of the Norwood Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Levi and Isabell Ferguson Gibson, three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Langston is survived by her husband, Oda Barton Langston of Palestine; daughters, Jeanette Hennigan of College Station, Vanoy Moseley of Lindale, Elaine McManness of Fairfield, Pa., and Linda McKinnie of Tyler; sons, Oda Delbert Langston of Bay City and Timothy Langston of Tyler; sisters, Emmie Chambers of Palestine and Leona Killion of Charleston, S.C.; 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Grady Stewart, Kevin Stewart, Dean Stewart, Karin Stewart, Timothy Langston and Gary Michael Stewart. Honorary pallbearer was Jon Hennigan.
