In Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida on 31 Dec 1846 he married Rebecca Durrance recorded p.33 Bk 1-01-2. His name was recorded at this time as Henry Sillivant. They were the parents of 11 children that lived into adulthood.

Henry also served during September 1856:3rd Sgt 5th Inf Fl Vol-Seminole War

In 1855 a land record, Certificate # 1557 Henry M. Sullivan was found filed when he lived in Alachua Co., FL, The amount of land was 40 acres, this document is shown to the right of this memorial.

On 01Feb1861, he was awarded a Cash Sale Entry for 76.1 acres of land in Florida. His name on the sale was recorded as Henry M. Sullivant.

Henry Sullivan one of the oldest citizens of the county, died Monday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Hansel. He was 91 years old. The body was buried in the Boggy Creek cemetery Wednesday.
