Wilhelmina Fleishouer was born on July 31, 1856, at Roseville, Ontario, Canada, and departed this life at Beaver City, Nebr., Wednesday evening, December 19, 1923, at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 19 days.
She spent her children and young womanhood in the community of her birth and at the age of 24 came to Saline county, Nebr., where on March 31, 1884, she ws united in marriage to K. D. Stewart. For twelve years they made their home in Jefferson county, Nebr., then for three years they residedin Saline county, and in 1899 the family moved to Beaver City, where the deceased has since lived.
This union was blessed with one son, William A. Stewart, of Chadron, Nebr.; and two daughters, Lillie C Stewart Langheine, who proceded her mother to their heavenly home, having passed away on Aprril 12 1920, and Mrs. Ivy E. Horn, of Goodrich, Colo.
Mrs. Stewart was brought up in the Lutheran church of which she was a life long member and she passed away resting her faith in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.
For long weary months Mrs. Stewart had suffered, but now she knows no more pain. Let us not dwell on our loss and sorrow, but rejoice with her in her new found joy and happiness.
The funeral was held at the home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and was conducted by Rev. James G. Clark and the burial was in Mount Hope cemetery.
