Terrence "Terry" T. Smith, 69, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Hickory, North Carolina. Passed away April 24, 2021 while on vacation in North Carolina. Terry was born on December 26, 1951 in Chicago to the late Elsie and the late Donald Smith. He is survived by his brother Donald R. Smith and sister-in- law, Frances, nee Castillo, Smith. Proud uncle of Donald (Amy) Smith and Michael (Meghan) Smith. Great uncle of Colin, Caroline, Finn and Bennet Smith. Terry is also survived by many cousins, and cherished friends, especially Ron. He was a retired computer tech who loved music and spending time with family and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, 7203 W. Talcott Avenue (at Harlem). Family and friends will gather at 11:00 am. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am. Entombment of cremains will immediately follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, Illinois.
A luncheon will be held in Terry's memory at the White Eagle Restaurant directly across from the cemetery entrance.Arrangements entrusted to the M J Suerth Funeral Home.
