Louise Edwards May age 89 of Marion, KY passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Crittenden Community Hospital.
She had worked as a schoolteacher, aide and office assistant. She enjoyed arts and crafts and basket weaving.

Louise was a member of Marion United Methodist Church and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was an avid fan of U.K. basketball and the Crittenden County Rockets. She volunteered for many community events and enjoyed baking cookies and cakes.

Mrs. May is survived by her husband, Billy Joe May, Marion, KY; daughters, Pat Waddell and Donna (Bennie) Johnson, all of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Sandie Waddell, Marion, KY; Scotty Johnson, Salem, KY and Troy Johnson, Greenville, KY; great grandchildren, Taylor Crabtree, Marion, KY; Cheyanne Doom, Marion, KY; Hailey Johnson, Salem, KY; Avery Johnson, Marion, KY and Miley Johnson, Salem, KY; great great grandchildren, Kayson Crabtree and Paisley Doom, both of Marion, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Nancy Soland Edwards and brother, Herman Edwards.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, KY with Bro. Ed Clement and Bro. David Combs officiating.

Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening between the hours of 5 and 8 PM.
