Jane, born to the late Allen and Nancy Stevens, on November 26, 1961, graduated from Pentucket High School and the University of Rhode Island.
Jane worked as a chemist/research professional in Consumer Product Management for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Thermo Instruments, Thermo Environmental, Thermo Electron, Thermo Orion located in Beverly, Woburn, Waltham & Chelmsford for 30 years and The Schrafft Center in Charlestown. She had many achievements during her career, which included developing heart monitors and working in conjunction with the Boston Museum of Science.
Jane was dedicated to her children and family, treasured and embraced every moment with them. Often, you would find her on the soccer or baseball field, cheering them on, participating as a Boy Scout Troup Leader and behind a camera capturing every moment and memory.
Jane served on numerous organizations and was an active member of the community. She loved to travel, explore other countries and spent time in Florida, where the family would attend the Red Sox opening season.
Jane is preceded in death by her son Benjamin Stevens.
She leaves behind her loving husband James Lovely, together for 39 years, and their son Allen Stevens of Merrimac; sister Judy Davis, sisters-in-law Karen Lovely, Alison Slater, Barbara Ewell, Cindy Lundberg and brothers-in-law Daniel Lovely and Brian Lovely, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
