Graveside services for Linda (Proctor) McCoy, 76, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on August 29, 1944 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Judy (Lasley) Proctor and Andy Proctor and passed away on May 9, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Melvin Thomas McCoy on February 10, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 16, 202. Mrs. McCoy was a social worker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Pam Cravatt of Tahlequah, OK, Melissa McCoy of Sallisaw, OK and Patricia Fields of Sallisaw, OK;

5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren;

4 sisters: Minnie Cannon of Hanna, Ok, Liza Proctor of Tulsa, OK, Lula Tansey of Tulsa, OK and Della Proctor of Okmulgee, OK;

1 brother: Andrew Proctor of Wilson, OK;

numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son: Keith McCoy and 2 brothers: Bill Proctor and Luster Proctor.

Viewing will be 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. in Sallisaw, OK.
