Funeral services for Thomas O'Neil Henderson are set for 11 AM Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 Fourth Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Pastor David G. Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Morton Cemetery, Richmond TX. Visitation will be 5 - 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
Neil Henderson, age 85, of Richmond, Texas, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 9, 2021, at his residence. Mr. Henderson was born May 8, 1936, in Bloomburg, Texas. He enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns. He used to refer to them as, "shoot em up and fist a cuff".
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Doris Kay Henderson of Richmond, TX; two daughters, Cherie Lynn Kell and husband, Richard Robert Kell, of Willis, TX, and Karen Ann Carr of Richmond, TX; one son, Charles Stanley Henderson and wife, Katherine Marie Henderson, of Magnolia, TX; and a sister, Margie Beard of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren, Jeremy Henderson, Christopher Carr and wife, Brooke Carr, Breanne Carr Cline and husband, Taylor Cline, Connor Kell, Kayleigh Kell, Elizabeth Wiedel and husband, Jeff, Crystal Gaskins and husband, Brian, Alexander Young; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Hayes Henderson; mother, Audree Henderson; four brothers, Odise Henderson, Jimmy Russel Henderson, Roger Gene Henderson, Larry Henderson; and a sister, Dorothy Marie Stanford.
