Henry Duane Jones, age 86 of Conyers, died Sunday, May 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, J Lee and Hazel Jones; wife, Mary Ann Jones; son, Paul Connell; daughter, Patricia Duncan Connell. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Jeff Smith, Elaine and Ken Hemmingway, Shirley Roberts; sister and brother in-law, Kathy and Ron Lingenfelter; grandchildren, Jason and Tronda Hemingway, Nancy Hemingway, Jonathan Roberts, Daniel and Jolie Roberts, Adam Duncan, Cody Pulliam, Rusty Spradling and Christian Reid (Caretaker), Justin Spradling, Logan Connell, Katlyn Connell; several great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry was married to his wife, Mary Ann, for 53 wonderful years. He was a hardworking man, who worked for Pittman Construction for 42 years. Henry loved Gospel music, fishing, wrestling, Nascar racing and especially watching his grandchildren in sports. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
