Mrs. Loola Ximena Garrison, 92, died Saturday, June 6, 1959 at her home in Gordonsville.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 8, at 11 a.m. from Gordonsville Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. James Dodd. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery, Gordonsville, with Preddy's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Hugh Goodwin, Sam Ryan, Hunter Rowe, R.G. Cowherd, Otto Sherwood, Jack Reynolds, George Utz, and Cecil Moore.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lillian C. Garrison, of Richmond, and Mrs. Mary Lee Brooks, of Gordonsville; one sister, Mrs. Jennie C. Willis, of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
