FLORIS EVA MIREAULT NORTH HERO / SOUTH BURLINGTON — Floris Eva Mireault, 93, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, in Birchwood Healthcare in Burlington following a long illness.
Floris was born May 9, 1909, in North Hero, the daughter of Hobart and Mary (Watson) Knight.
Floris was a lifelong resident of North Hero and was a member of the North Hero Methodist Church.
She was married to Herman Dubuque in 1933. Herman predeceased her in 1952. She married George Mireault on Sept. 15, 1962. George died in 1997.
Mrs. Mireault is survived by her son, Donald Dubuque and his wife, Pauline, of North Hero; her stepdaughters, Jean Stryker of Delores, Colo., and Claire Lautenschlager and her husband, Melvin, of Rio Rancho, N.M.; her grandchildren, Jim Dubuque and his wife, Carol, of North Hero, Dennis Dubuque and his wife, Paula, of Milton, and Marilee Silva and her husband, Eric, of Riverside, R.I.; many great-grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
Burial will be in the Mireault family lot in Hyde Cemetery in North Hero.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the funeral in the Minor Funeral Home, located at 237 Route 7 South, Milton.
