A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, in Highland Community Church in Gresham for Marlene Ruth Friend, who died Aug. 8 at age 72.
Marlene Lodwig was born April 30, 1934, in Portland. She graduated from Gresham High School and was a homemaker. She lived in Roseville, Calif., from 1980 until 2001, when she returned to Gresham.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff and Mark; daughter, Leslie Metropol; brothers, Jim Lodwig and Dan Lodwig; sister, Nancy Bloom; and six grandchildren.
