Arnson, Beverly 9/15/1920 - 12/7/2016 Montague Beverly Elaine Arnson (nee Phillips), 96, a lifelong resident of Montague, MI passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Heartland Healthcare Center-Whitehall. Beverly worked at Montague Middle School in food services since the 1970's and was very caring to her students. She was proud to be a strong, independent women in spite of her blindness. Beverly was an avid Detroit Tigers and Montague Football Fan. She was a great cook and her family especially enjoyed her holiday get -togethers. She could even make a hot dog special. Beverly was an active woman with many organizations. She enjoyed volunteering at her church, Montague United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, Red Cross blood bank, and her children's schools to name a few. Most important to Beverly was spending time with her family. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Beverly is the beloved wife of the late Maurice, whom passed away in 1975. Loving mother of the late Val Mikkelsen, Howard Arnson, Ron (Debra) Arnson, and Luann (Eric) Chiles. Mother-in-law of Norman Mikkelsen. Dear grandmother of Wendi Hall, Randall (Letisha) Mikkelsen, Jeff (Fritchie) Mikkelsen, Dianna Arnson, Deric Chiles, and Tori (Craig Larsen) Chiles. Great-grandmother of Brittani Hall; Trey, Kiara, Ryu, Kijoo, and Valarie Mikkelsen. Great-great-grandmother of Sophie Hall and Special friend Jim Tanis and cousin Betty Graham. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service (413 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall, MI 49461), with Jim Tanis officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service.
