Carol "Joyce" Ptacek passed away Thursday June 2, 2005 at Jasper County Hospital. Friends may call on Sunday June 5, 2005 from 2-8 PM at Jackson Funeral Service, 200 Third St. SW, DeMotte, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 6, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel with Pastor Larry Sakel officiating. Interment at DeMotte Cemetery. Survived by her husband Arthur "Butch" Ptacek, children Todd (Teresa) Ptacek and Valerie Ptacek. Grand children, Elicia Gunter, Emily & Elizabeth Ptacek and Corre Ptacek. Sisters: Mary Lou (Lyle) Betz, Nellie Marsh, Pam (tom) Hershman & Linda Maze. Brothers: Roscoe (Pat) Hilton & Gordon (Betty) Hilton. Memorials may be made to DeMotte United Methodist Church.
