Obituary of Elizabeth Marie Cole

Elizabeth Marie Cole joined the creator on Thursday May 6th, 2021 at 2:26 am. She joined her son, Anthony who preceded her in death. I have no doubt she is in pure bliss and we know she is feeling the peace she deserves to be reunited with her baby!

Liz was born January 9, 1964 in Oklahoma City to Joyce and Alva Bowers. She leaves behind her husband Ray Dale Cole of Sapulpa, OK. She leaves behind three daughters Jennifer Luna of Fort Smith, AR; Amber and husband Trey Bennett of Tulsa, OK and Theresa and Nick Hamilton of Kellyville, OK. She is also survived by two sons Dion and wife Whitney Cole of Fort Smith, AR and Joseph Cole of Fort Smith, AR.

She was a wonderful Nana and leaves behind 13 beautiful grandchildren! She is survived by sisters Donella Sellers of Sapulpa, OK; Marilyn and husband Jimmy Scrivener of Keota, OK; Kimberly and husband Harvey Claunts of Shady Point, OK. She is survived by brother Michael and wife Karen Bowers of Fort Smith, AR and preceded in death by brother Matthew Eugene Bowers. She also leaves behind numerous friends and relatives.

Elizabeth was always the life of the party, and a big jokester! She loved adding bunny ears into the photos that were supposed to be the serious ones! She loved Yahtzee and card games.

She loved to give openly to her family and her community. If she saw a need, she made sure it was met! She loved giving gifts and was always sure to have a birthday card! She was obsessed with taking photos and preserving those moments in time to cherish, as she flipped through her photo albums often!

Elizabeth really loved being connected with those she loved and was a major lifeline to many in the family! She was always there with open arms to anyone who needed a place to be safe and nurtured! She was truly a one of a kind, beautiful soul! Fly free, sweet butterfly!

May you go with Peace.
May God carry you into the sky,
Light and easy as a butterfly.
May you go with Love.
May Jesus give you a hug.
May you go without pain.
May you visit me in the spring,
As the beautiful butterfly angel you are.

—-Guinivere Pierce, age 12

May you go up to Heaven to see God with Joy, and with peace!
You are free!
You are free!
Let your spirit run wild and free!
Your beautiful spirit run wild and free
Up in heaven with Joy and peace.
Joy and peace.
