James Aubrey Hamm, age 79, of Mena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on June 16, 1941 in Camden, Arkansas to the late Aubry Hamm and Annette (Baker) Hamm.
James served our country in the United States Navy. He taught at Ouachita Baptist University in the English Department and was also a Deputy Sheriff for Polk County. He did volunteer work, most notably for CASA. James was a "jack of all trades" and spoke many languages. He enjoyed traveling the world and sharing stories with his friends. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his closest friends, Rene Roberts, and John Watkins; and many other friends too great to mention.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Beasley Wood Funeral Home.
