Jimmy Mac McDonald passed away May 4, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born in Charlotte, NC on August 18, 1950 to the late Marvin Parks McDonald and the late Carrie Elsie McDonald. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Rick, Jerry, Bill, and sister, Shelby.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 49 years, Nancy McDonald; his children, Brian (Wendy) McDonald of Concord, Timmy (Crystal) McDonald of Kannapolis, Scottie (Jennifer) McDonald of Concord; brothers, William (Butch) McDonald and Marvin (Randy) McDonald; sister Jane Tallon, eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and his loving dog Oscar.

Jimmy was a hard-working individual that took pride in providing for, taking care of, and spending time with his family. During his long sickness he proved that he was a fighter and had a "never giving up" attitude that lasted nearly 7 years until the illness took him to his heavenly home.

Jimmy proudly served our country in the US Army, 82nd Airborne Division.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Judes Hospital.
