Nancy Elizabeth Welch, 67, of Leavenworth, died Monday, May 3, 2021, at Providence Hospital. She was born Feb. 7, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of John B. and Grace E. (Mays) Wood. On June 20, 1975, Nancy married and survives. She is also survived by four daughters a son, two sisters, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Susan Wood and Donna Matthews. Nancy enjoyed gardening and watching birds. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren; they were her world.
