Born in Kansas City, Mo., he moved to Orlando in 1962 from Atlanta.
A member of the First Baptist Church, Orland, he was a southeastern representative of Pepperell Manufacturing Co. and Dan River Mills.
He was the first president of Atlanta Textile Club, a member of the Florida Chapter ATO Fraternity and a former member of the Atlanta Rotary Club.
Survivors: widow, Anne W.; daughters, Mrs. Hilda Mae Callaway, Mrs. Ruth Robe Perkerson; three grandchildren, all of Atlanta.
W. Guy Black Home for Funerals will send the body to Atlanta for interment in Westview Abby.
