Dennis Buchanan, 71, of Advance, MO passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born July 22, 1949 in Puxico, MO son of Monroe and Geneva Steinmeir Buchanan. He and Terry Davis were united in marriage on September 11, 1993.
Dennis was a construction operator and a member of the Fairview General Baptist Church in Advance.
Survivors include: his wife Terry, children Shawna (Pastor Will) Davis of Puxico, MO, Emily (Tyler) Boyd of Egypt Mills, MO, Justun (Jenna) Buchanan of Wappapello, MO. Meleigh Buchanan of Texas, Tyler (Audri) Buchanan of Rogersville, MO, Darron Stotts of Zalma, MO, Terri (Jake) Hobbs of Willard, MO, Tia Buchanan of Rogersville, MO, special pets Nikki and Toga, mother Geneva Lacewell of Puxico, MO, brother Dallas (Marla) Buchanan of Puxico, MO, sisters Cheryl (Gary) Faries of Puxico, MO, Joy (Jeff) Buchanan of Wisconsin, Zena Onstott of Illinois, grandchildren Mikayla, Cole, Greyson, Breauna, Emberlyn, Hunt-Garrett, Cole, Della, Sophia, Zayden, Olivia, and Aizley.
He was preceded in death by his father Monroe.
Graveside Services will be Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery near Advance, MO with Bro. Earl Elfrink and Bro. Will Davis officiating. Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life picking in the Fairview Church parking lot. Dress casual and bring your lawn chairs. Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
