Dennis Gange, 90, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2018.
He was born November 1, 1927 in Drake, ND to John and Katherine (Volk) Gange.

Dennis spent much of his life in federal service. He served in the Army from 1947-1951 in Japan and Korea. He served in the Navy from 1957-1973 with significant time on the USS Orleck, USS Bryce Canyon and at Great Lakes and Quonset Point Naval Stations. Dennis retired as a Navy Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of military service. He moved to Bremerton, WA in 1977 and worked 18 years in civil service at Keyport, WA until his retirement in 1995.

Dennis' military honors included the Army Occupation Service Medal, the Army Forces Expeditionary Medal, four Navy Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Medal with Bronze Star and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Dennis is survived by brothers Lawrence Gange and Peter (Norma) Gange, a sister Theresa (Harland) Bolkan, niece Waverly (Allen) Hagen, nephews Rory and Terry Bolkan, grand-nephews Starling Bolkan and Ryan Hagen.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, father, brothers Michael and John, sister Marie, and wife Clara.
