SAGE, Patricia Faye Callahan, 82, of Chesterfield, Va. died with her family by her side and God and his angels guiding her way home to heaven on May 5, 2021. Pat was born on May 12, 1938 in Richlands, Va. but grew up in the beloved coal town of Jekinjones, WVa. Pat loved and was preceded in death by her parents, Ira V. and Elizabeth V. Callahan; older brothers, Cecil (LaVerne), Ira (Dot), Alton Sr. (Hazel) and Charles (Nancy); and nephew, Richard Callahan. She is survived by her heartbroken and beloved daughter and adored son-in-law, Teresa L. Sage-Noxon and William L. Noxon, whom Pat lived, laughed, giggled and enjoyed life with; fur grandbabies, Tripp and Joy; her niece and nephew along with their families, Connie Steinmetz and Stephen Callahan (Eva); and many other friends and relative, including special friends, Alice Noxon and Phyllis Sue Raley. The family wishes to thank At Home Care Hospice and nurses JoAnne, Sheila, Teresa, Martha and Danielle for their care. Pat was gentle, loving, kind and sweet. She loved books, animals, Days of Our Lives, Reese Cups, ice cream, Elvis and Christmas, but above all she loved her family and God. She hated snow and to cook. Pat was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, 6200 Courthouse Rd., where at graveside ceremony will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell U.M.C. "Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, in every gesture dignity and love." Paradise Lost, Milton.
