She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and served in the past as a member of the choir and the altar Guild. She was a cub scout Den Mother and was active in PTA. Mrs. Joyner was employed by the Bay County School Systems for six years as bookkeeper at St. Andrew Grammer and Jinks Jr. High School and for eighteen years at the Educational Media Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles Long Joyner, her parents, her sisters, Ernestine Hopkins Lane and Hazel Aymett Hopkins, brother, Raymond Holmes Hopkins.
