Jacob Peters Dies at his Home Here
After an illness of about three month. Jacob A. Peters, 59, life long resident of York County, died at his home, 617 West Sixth street, this morning about five o'clock as the result of a heart ailment. Mr. Peters was born on a farm southwest of Henderson on March 17, 1884. Until eight years ago he resided on farms near Bradshaw. Since that time he has reside in this city. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Justina Peters of York; three sons, Bernard J., of York, Pvt. Dietrich J., of Camp Shelby, Miss. and Pfc. David Peters with the U. S. army overseas; three daughters, Mrs. Melvin Barber and Mrs. Arnold Grant Dorsey of Benedict; his mother, Mrs. D. J. Peters of Dallas Ore.; five brothers, D. A. of Ritzville, Wash., G. D., and Henry, both of Dallas Ore., and Ben of Aurora; three sisters, Mrs.C C. Goosen and Mrs. Peter Schrag, both of Dallas, Ore. and Mrs. Joseph F. Waltner of Monroe, Wash. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
