Nancy E. Lunsford, 67, of Middleburg, FL, passed away on May 6, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones at home after a long journey with the disease Alzheimer's. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 19, 1954.

Proceeded in death by parents Winston and Ernestine Cook. She is survived by her loving spouse, Bobby Lunsford; three children Erin Avery (Grayson) Ryan Lunsford (Sherri), and Katie Smith (Christopher); and seven grandchildren Reagan (18), Rowen (13), Landon (10), Reese (9), Kenzie (6), Caleb (3), and Brooke (6 months).

She has two beautiful sisters, Ann Frost (Jimmy) and Lynn Anderson (David), two wonderful brothers, Wayne Cook (Pat) and Billy Cook (Glenda), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren made up a very large family that Nancy was so very proud of.

Nancy graduated from Paxon High School in 1972 and then went to St. Luke's Hospital School of X-Ray Technology graduating in 1974. She later specialized in the field of mammography. Nancy knew no stranger and in the field of medicine she made many lifelong friends. She loved to encourage and help others. Her nurturing spirit really set her apart from others.

Nancy played an active role in church at First Baptist of Middleburg in the preschool/nursery or wherever there was a need. Nancy's motto was "wherever He leads I'll go."

Nancy will be remembered most by her giving spirit and a smile that lit up the room. Her family was so very important to her and she would do anything for them. We as a family have so many cherished memories that we will remember and hold fast to. Although this is certainly a tough time, the family is at peace knowing that Nancy is able to dance, smile, and has no more pain. She is certainly watching down on us with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
