Clifford Lee Davis, age 71, of Baring, MO, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, in Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born September 16, 1949, in Knox City, MO the son of Garland Royal and Barbara Ann Norton Davis.
Clifford attended school at Knox City Elementary and Knox County R1 High School in Edina, MO. Clifford was employed with family in construction and farming in Knox County and was employed as a welder in Georgia and North Dakota working on power plant cranes. Clifford attended the Knox City Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are a special friend Patricia Friday of Quincy, IL, seven children, Lesa Davis of Kansas City, MO, Regina Davis (Perry) Parr of Colorado, Shelly (Phillip) Mills of Hale, MO, Billy Davis of Lewistown, MO, Angela Davis of Center, North Dakota, Cynthia Davis of Kirksville, MO and Christopher Davis of Hannibal, MO, two brothers Richard Eugene (Amy) Davis of Edina, MO, and Ricky Royal Davis of LaBelle, MO, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, an uncle J.V. (Joyce Ann) Norton of Knox City, MO, a sister-in-law Denise Davis of Revere, MO, several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents Garland Royal Davis and Barbara Ann Norton Davis Goodwin, two brothers Jerry Ray and Mickey Gene Davis and his step father Orville Goodwin.
Clifford will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. Burial will be held at a later date. Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina is in charge of arrangements.
