Ashley "Glynn" Cox, 69, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at a local hospital.


He was born on January 16, 1952 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Ashley Nathaniel Cox and Frances Nadine Massey.


Glynn had a love for fishing and most anything outdoors. He worked for Jenkins Masonry as a brick mason many years before finally retiring. He enjoyed camping, hiking and spending time with his family. Glynn had a love for wood working and spent many hours creating items that his family will cherish as memories.


He is preceded by both his mother and father.


He is survived by his two daughters, Stacie (Mark)King of Salem Al and Kelly (Willie) Billingslea of Chattanooga Tn; his four loving sisters, Regina Cox Oakes of Salem Al, Jackie (David) Parker of Salem Al, Dawn (Larry) Ranels of Pine Mountain Ga, and Joy Tyner of Salem Al; four grandchildren, Connor and Colbie King, Aubree and Miles Billingslea; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.


A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021, with Rev. Bill Owens officiating.
