Richard Conner, 61, of Leawood, Kansas, died October 12, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House. A private celebration of Rick's life will be held at a future date. Rick was born July 12, 1950 in Columbus KS, son of Marvin and Melba Conner. He graduated from Lawrence High School and Kansas State University with a Doctorate of Veterinarian Medicine. Most recently, Rick served as Senior Vice President-Investment Officer for Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC. He was an avid golfer and member of the club at Porto Cima, Sunrise Beach, MO. He was a member of the KSU Alumni Association, AVMA, 4-H and FFA. In memory of Rick's son Ryan, he and his wife supported the students in the Shawnee Mission East Photography One program. Rick is survived by a host of loving family and friends.
