After WWII the family moved to a small farm outside Butterfield, MO., and Mildred graduated from Wheaton High School in 1948 and moved to nearby Cassville, MO., where she worked for the local State Senator at his insurance agency. In Cassville she met Jack Aaron and they were married in 1949. In 1962 the family moved to Springdale, Ark.
Mildred was active in the community, sang in a church quartet, and was very creative, winning ribbons for her handiwork. After Jack passed away, Mildred moved to Little Rock, Ark., became an active member of Parkway Place Baptist Church, took up knitting, and made numerous items which she donated to charitable organizations. In 2017 Mildred moved to NW Ark. where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Lowell, Ark. Mildred frequently talked of going to Heaven and her family is encouraged by her faith in her Lord and Savior.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, and beloved siblings Anna Ruth Poore and Ruby Bradford. She is survived by her brother Gail Burton (Bonnie) of Vienna, Va., and children Gary Aaron (Jutta) and Kimberly (Dean McGee), all of Bentonville, Ark.
Services will be at 11 am Thurs., Aug. 19, 2021, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Ark. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery. Gary Thomas will officiate.
