Floyd Edward Ross, Jr., 31, of Leavenworth, Kan., passed away unexpectedly, May 4, 2021. He was born March 7, 1990, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Those who knew Floyd, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives as he was incredibly encouraging and he had a smile that could light up a room. Floyd was genuine, kind-hearted and his shining spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Floyd is survived by his parents; an older brother, two older sisters, his 3 yr. old daughter, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who had the great pleasure of crossing paths with Floyd. Until we meet again.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery. All are welcome.
