Frances (Auntie Frannie, Sis G) Gordon, wife of the late Rev Owen Gordon made her transition yesterday. Auntie Frannie was an exceptional lady, her service within the Golden Spring United Brethren Church and the wider community was done with much love, respect and empathy, she was a wife, mentor, counselor, adviser, listener and friend. She was unselfish with her many skills and talents. She poured all she knew into the lives of all who were eager to learn. She was a fashion designer, baker, florist amongst other things, she had that spiritual midas touch. She had a kind heart, soft spoken but firm, a no nonsense lady. Her life was one to be emulated. She was a hard worker. Auntie Frannie was a remarkable conversationalist, she was a lovely Christian lady well respected, rounded and grounded in her faith.
Her physical strength began to fail as time marches on especially after her husband died. She was a fighter to the end.
The battle is over, life in this life is no more.
Auntie Frannie you will be surely missed. Now you can rest in the arms of your husband in the bosom of your Heavenly Father. You will be home in time for supper safe flight on your one way ticket out of here. Love always.
