Julie Claudette Foster, 66, of Wiseman, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Salem, Arkansas. Julie was born June 30, 1954 in Fargo, North Dakota to Jimmy Sjothun and Anita (Stanly) Sjothun. Julie was raised by Jimmy Sjothun and Nancy (Tunnell) Sjothun, whom she called mother.

Julie was united in marriage to Nathan Foster on January 29, 1981 in Springfield, Missouri. Julie retired as a Registered Nurse and worked as a United States Postmaster. Julie served her country in the Army National Guard and was a Charter Member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She touched countless lives serving through her church, and as a nurse both at home and abroad. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

Julie leaves to mourn her passing, son, James Foster; parents, Jimmy and Nancy Sjothun; two brothers, Scott Sjothun and Jim Sjothun; three sisters, Valerie Schuman, Mandy Bradford, and Jeri Oleson; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband (Nathan Foster) and sister (Amy Sjothun).

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
